Cocktail Classes at Uproot Restaurant in Warren, NJ

uproot1During the months of June, July, and August, Uproot Restaurant in Warren, New Jersey, will host a series of Thursday evening cocktail classes.

 

Cocktail making skills will be featured, and each student will receive all necessary ingredients and mixology tools. In addition, light fare will be provided as well as parting gifts.

 

Here’s a rundown on the cocktail class schedule…

 

Thursday, May 6, 6:30 p.m.: “Cocktails from the Garden”

Featured will be incorporating fresh herbs and flowers into artisan cocktails. Participants will learn the art of muddling for mojitos and making herbed sodas. There will also be a special guest from Bulldog Gin.

 

Thursday, June 3, 6:30 p.m.: “Triple Crown Tastes”

The final race of the Triple Crown will be celebrated. Each race has its own cocktail: The Mint Julep, Belmont Breeze, and Black-Eyed Susan. The original Belmont cocktail, the White Carnation, will be revived.

 

Thursday, July 1, 6:30 p.m.: “Summertime Splashes”

Refreshing crushed ice cocktails, making “adult” juice boxes for the beach, and non-alcoholic cocktails with fresh juices, made-from-scratch grenadine, and real ginger ale.

 

Each class will last approximately 1.5 hours and is priced at $40.00 per person per class. Cocktail classes are by reservation only and can be made by phone at (908) 834-8194 or by email to jonathan@uprootrestaurant.com
