Lail Vineyards Wine Dinner at the Bernards Inn

BernInnLOGO3.10On Tuesday, May 4th, beginning at 6:30 p.m., the Bernards Inn in Bernardsville, New Jersey, will host a spectacular wine dinner featuring the celebrated wines from Lail Vineyards in Napa Valley, California.

 

Lail wines are made by a family whose winemaking roots in the Napa Valley go back more than a century. Today, wines are produced using sustainable farming practices.

 

The evening will begin with a reception hosted by winemaker Robin Lail and the Bernards Inn’s Wine Director and Sommelier, Terri Baldwin. Executive Chef Corey Heyer will create a five-course dinner, with each course paired with a wine.

 

Hamachi Sashimi, Cucumber Consommé, Salmon Roe, Cucumber Pearls, Soy Tapioca, Micro Mizuna, Frozen Yuzu

Wine: “Blue Print” Sauvignon Blanc

 

Santa Barbara Spot Prawns, Melon Soup, Prosciutto, Boniato Potato Gnocchi, Banyuls, Vanilla, Thai Basil

Wine: “Georgia” Sauvignon Blanc

 

48-Hour Short Rib, Tempura Portobello Mushrooms and Asparagus, Vidalia Onion “Alfredo,” Red Wine Reduction

Wine: “Blue Print” Red Blend

 

Colorado Lamb Loin, Black Trumpet Mushrooms, Potato & Leek Purée, Thumbelina Carrots, Red Pepper Reduction

Wine: J. Daniel Cuvée Cabernet

Artisanal Cheeses
