With warm weather just around the corner, it is once again time for the annual release of spring wine at the Chaddsford Winery. And to honor the wine and the season, winery proprietors Eric and Lee Miller plan to celebrate with two festive spring wine tastings on Saturday, April 17th, and Saturday, April 24th.
Spring wine tastings will feature a tropical theme this year with island music and a festive “tiki” motif. Guests will be greeted upon arrival with a glass of spring wine, fresh strawberries, and a colorful lei. Guests are also invited to wear favorite Hawaiian shirts or tropical-inspired sartorial finery. In addition, Chaddsford’s wine-aging cellars will be opened for tastings of other current Chaddsford wines, with light cheese and snacks.
There is no fee to participate in the spring wine tastings, but reservations are required. For more info, or to make reservations, please call (610) 388-6221.
Chaddsford Winery is Pennsylvania’s premiere winery. They were awarded thirty-seven medals in international wine competitions in 2009 and also won the Pennsylvania Wine Society’s “best wine” trophy in 2010.
Chaddsford wines are available directly from the winery in Chadds Ford or at Chaddsford’s Bucks County Tasting Room in Peddler’s Village, Lahaska. Wines may also be ordered online at www.chaddsford.com.
Cheers!
