On Saturday & Sunday, March 27th & 28th, five New Jersey’s estate wineries – Alba Vineyard in Finesville, Hopewell Valley Vineyards in Pennington, Unionville Vineyards in Ringoes, Laurita Winery in New Egypt, and Cape May Winery in Cape May – will be hosting a special “Girlfriends Getaway Weekend.”
During this weekend, each winery will be offering events designed just for women. Alba Vineyard will be offering wine and food pairings and wine cellar tours; Cape May Winery will feature complimentary wine tastings and a mini-mall of jewelry, spa products, pottery, a wide range of art, cupcakes, greeting cards, and more more; Laurita Winery will have live music and jewelry, scrapbook demos and products, candles, gifts, and tea room accessories; visitors to Hopewell Valley Vineyards will find jewelry vendors, crafters, cheese and chocolates and spa products; and Unionville Vineyards is planning a wine and chocolate tasting.
Attendees can sample wines that have won international and national gold medals, learn about wine and food pairings, take wine cellar tours, meet the winemaker, and spend quality time with their girlfriends.
You may come for the day or for the weekend. All the wineries can offer information on lodging and Bed & Breakfasts near by.
