Philly’s Supper Restaurant to Serve Festive Passover Menu

supperOn Monday, March 29th, and Tuesday, March 30th, chef-owner Mitch Prensky of Supper Restaurant, 926 South Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, will offer guests a special “Supper Seder Passover Dinner.”

 

Menu items will include:

 

For the Table:

Charoset, Hard-Boiled Egg, and House-Baked Matzo

 

Hors d’Oeuvres:

Chicken Liver Mousse with Pork Wine & Crispy Fried Onions

OR

Pickled Baby Beets with Orange Gremolata

 

First Course:

Gefilte Fish with Fresh Grated Horseradish & Beet Essence

OR

Old-Fashioned Chicken Soup with Matzo Ball and Dill

 

Main Course:

Oven-Roasted Giannone Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic

OR

My Mother’s World Famous Brisket of Beef with Sweet Potato, Carrot and Apple Tzimmes, and Cider-Macerated Fruits

 

Up to Three Sides for the Table:

Poached Asparagus with Lemon Aioli

Crispy Potato Latkes with Caramelized Leeks

 

Dessert:

Flourless Chocolate Torte with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

OR

Caramelized Apple-Matzo Kugel with Cinnamon Whipped Cream

OR

House-Baked Macaroons
