On Friday, December 18th, beginning at 6:00 p.m., Peter Shields Restaurant in Cape May, New Jersey, will host a five-course wine dinner featuring vintages from the Cape May Winery.
First Course: Cape May-Style Cioppino
Wine: Cape May Riesling
Second Course: Coquille St. Jacques – Pan-Seared Day Boat Scallop, Seared Polenta, Creamy Wild Mushroom Purée
Wine: Cape May Pinot Grigio
Third Course: Iceberg Wedge, Creamy Gorgonzola, Crumbled Smoked Bacon, Teardrop Tomatoes, Crispy Fried Shoestring Potatoes
Wine: Isaac Smith Cabernet Sauvignon
Fourth Course: Cherry-Braised Buffalo Osso-Buco, Baby Carrot Purée, Goat Cheese Mashed, Garlic-Infused White Truffle Oil, Grilled Asparagus
Wine: Isaac Smith Red Reserve
Fifth Course: Cinnamon Run-Raisin Bread Pudding, Crème Anglaise, Chocolate Sauce, Vanilla Bean Whipped Cream
Wine: Isaac Smith Fini Blanc
