mercersburg-innOnce again, the Mercersburg Inn, Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, will be hosting its annual “New Year’s Eve Black Tie Dinner Dance” (black tie preferred; jacket and tie required; adults only).

 

The evening will include:

Five-course dinner with wine

Dancing to DJ Greg’s golden oldies from the 50s – 80s in the Great Room

Watch the ball drop in Times Square

Champagne toast and finger sweets at midnight

Gourmet 3-course breakfast (late breakfast)

Late checkout New Year’s Day

Appetizers (Choice of):

Escargot baked in Puff Pastry, Duxelle, Sauce Beurre Blanc

Olive Oil-Poached Shrimp, Preserved Lemon, Wilted Arugula

 

Salads (Choice of):

Grilled Radicchio & Endive, Balsamic Vinaigrette

Mixed Field Greens, Poached Pears, Gorgonzola, Pecans, Raspberry Vinaigrette

 

Soups (Choice of):

Mussel & Fennel Soup, Leek Oil

Homemade Asian Ravioli, Roasted Chicken Consommé

 

Entrées (Choice of):

Pan-Seared Red Snapper, Flageolets, Thyme Jus

Confit of Duckling & Grilled Duck Breast, Caramelized Orange Sauce

Roasted Sea Bass, Pomegranate-Red Wine Mignonette

Chestnut Custard, Two Fruit Sauces

Chocolate Crème Brûlée
