albavineyardOn Saturday, December 19, and Sunday, December 20, from 12:00 noon – 5:00 p.m., Alba Vineyard in the Village of Finesville, Milford, NJ, will celebrate the release of their 2008 Chardonnay and re-release of their award-winning 2007 barrel reserve Chardonnay.

The 2008 Chardonnay, which is aged with a slight hint of French oak, finishes with a soft, vanilla character that pairs well with assorted cheeses, seafood, and grilled chicken & pork. The 2007 barrel reserve Chardonnay, a gold medal and best vinifera winner in the New Jersey Wine Competition, is aged for 10 months in French oak to create a rich, creamy finish that marries extremely well with sauced dishes and grilled poultry.

On Saturday and Sunday, the festivities will begin with a sampling of Alba’s brut sparkling wine with the Milford Oyster House providing light appetizers to pair with the Chardonnays. All wine tastings will include wine samples, light hors d’oeuvres, and an etched Alba wine glass, all priced at just $10.00 per person. Tours of the winery will also run every hour throughout the day.

Nestled in the rolling hills of Warren County, two miles east of the Delaware River and historic bucks County, PA, in the beautiful Musconetcong Valley, Alba Vineyard’s winery and tasting room are located in an historic 1805 converted stone bar, which features an impressive wood tasting bar, rustic stone walls, and old oak beams.

For more information, please contact Alba Vineyard at (908) 995-7800.

Cheers!
