On Thursday, November 26, chef/proprietor Mitch Prensky of Philadelphia’s restaurant Supper, 926 South Street, will host a special Thanksgiving Day feast, offering two seatings at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Thanksgiving offerings will include: Smoked butternut squash soup with cinnamon marshmallow and sage; roasted, farm-raised turkey with giblet gravy and house-made cranberry compote; and an assortment of sides served family style for the table, including sourdough bread stuffing and candied sweet potatoes. Guests who would prefer to have their Thanksgiving meal delivered to their home should contact Chef Prensky’s catering company, The Global Dish, at (215) 592-9944 to discuss menu details and pricing.
Supper, which was opened in 2007 by husband-and-wife team Mitch Prensky and Jennifer London Prensky, was recently named to Philadelphia magazine’s “Top 50 Restaurants, 2009.” The modern American restaurant serves up local, sustainable, farm-direct cuisine; and their mix of fresh, flavorful ingredients and flawless execution have drawn accolades from critics and won a loyal following of guests.
