This coming Sunday, November 22, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Andrea Immer-Robinson will be appearing at the Wegmans Wine Shop, 240 Nassau Park Boulevard, Princeton, NJ. She will be selling and signing copies of her books, but guests should feel free to bring their own copies for a signature.
Ms. Immer-Robinson is one of the country’s leading wine educators and is one of only 16 women in the world to have been appointed Master Sommelier by the prestigious Court of Master Sommeliers. She was the first woman ever chosen Best Sommelier in the United States by the Sommelier Society of America. She also became the first appointed Dean of Wine Studies for COPIA: The American Center for Wine, Food and the Arts in Napa in 2008.
Ms. Immer-Robinson was the first woman Cellarmaster for Windows on the World and also served as its Beverage Director. As the first-ever Dean of Wine Studies of The French Culinary Institute, from which she is an honors graduate, she developed wine courses to complement the school’s culinary programs.
With eight books, two television programs, and an online video wine course to her credit, her down-to-earth and energetic approach to wine, as well as wine and food pairings, has helped demystify the subject for hundreds of thousands of consumers and beverage professionals across the globe. Her immense popularity can certainly be traced to her ability to make wine less intimidating and more approachable.
Cheers!
