On Friday, November 20, 6:00 p.m., Cape May Winery and Peter Shields Restaurant, both in Cape May, NJ, will join together to present a 5-course wine dinner. The dinner will take place at Peter Shields and will pair 5 delicious courses with vintages from the Cape May Winery.
First Course: Purée of Butternut Squash Soup, Smoked Shrimp, Cinnamon-Spiced Croutons
Wine: 2008 Cape May Chardonnay
Second Course: Grilled Duck Sausage, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Panko-Fried Goat Cheese, Rosemary Vinaigrette
Wine: Isaac Smith Red
Third Course: Baby Field Greens and Romaine Lettuce tossed with Balsamic Vinaigrette, English Cucumbers, Sweet Peppers, Red Onions, Pine Nuts, Crumbled Blue
Wine: Riesling
Fourth Course: Stuffed South African Lobster Tail, Wakame, Basmati Rice, Roasted Red Pepper, Garlic & Basil Beurre Blanc
Wine: Barrel-Fermented Chardonnay
Fifth Course: Triple Berry Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream
Wine: Isaac Smith Fini Blanc
