“Off the Hook” Seafood Celebration in South Jersey

off-the-hookThe Tortilla Press in Collingswood, NJ, is joining 30 other independent South Jersey restaurants in “Off the Hook,” a culinary event celebrating fresh seafood from New Jersey and beyond. From Monday, November 16 through Thursday, November 19, participating restaurants will offer four courses for just $30.00 per person.

 

Here’s a look-see at The Tortilla Press’s menu, which features both vegetarian and gluten free alternatives (for landlubbers, the regular dinner menu will also be available).

 

Appetizer (Choice of):

Lump Crabmeat Guacamole Tostadas

Mini Shrimp Ceviche Tacos (Gluten Free)

Sea Scallops in Applewood Smoked Bacon (Gluten Free)

Wild Mushroom Empanadas (Vegetarian)

 

Soup or Salad (Choice of):

Pan-Seared Tropical Cheese & Crispy Calamari Salad

Chorizo Clam Chowder

Fall Vegetable Pozole (Vegetarian & Gluten Free)

 

Entrée (Choice of):

Tilapia Fish Taco

Garlic Chili Shrimp Scampi

Paella for Two

Baked Chili Rellenos (Vegetarian & Gluten Free)

 

Dessert (Choice of):

Vegan Coconut Flan (Gluten Free)

Mexican Chocolate & Cajeta Cake

Tres Leches with Strawberries & Peaches
