Friday, November 13: Simply Sushi in Cape May will conduct a sushi making demo and class on etiquette of the famous Japanese cuisine. Tickets are $25.00 per person and include a glass of wine. Tickets may be purchased at either the Cape May Winery, (609) 884-1169, or at Simply Sushi, (609) 884-7874.
Friday, November 20th: A special wine pairing dinner will be held at Peter Shields Inn. Executive Chef Chris Rue will prepare a four-course meal made specifically to pair with the vintages from Cape May Winery. Winemaker Darren Hesington will be on hand to explain how each dish pairs with the selected wines. The cost is $75.00 per person, plus tax and gratuity. And during the Thanksgiving weekend… each day the winery will host a different local specialty food vendor…
Friday, November 27th: Organic Raw Chocolates. If you have never tried “good for you” chocolate, now is the time. Plus it pairs well with the winery’s red wines.
Saturday, November 28th: Chef Walter J. will demonstrate his famous spice rubs for easy-to-make dishes.
Sunday, November 29th: Seaside Cheese Company will be on hand with their imported and domestic cheeses.
Each vendor will be showcased from 12:00 noon – 5:00 p.m. on the day specified. Delicious samples can be tasted and purchases made… just in time for the holidays!
