jeffersonThis coming Monday, October 26, through Sunday, November 1, Richmond, Virginia, will celebrate its annual “Restaurant Week.” Participating restaurants will put together a 3-course menu priced at $25.09 per person; each restaurant will then donate $2.09 per dinner to the Central Virginia Food Bank.

 

One of my favorite dining spots in Richmond is TJ’s, a classy Southern bistro in the famous Jefferson Hotel… So you reside anywhere in the area – or are planning a visit – you might want to consider their mouthwatering restaurant week menu…

 

1st Course (Choice of):

Roasted Beets with Creamy Goat Cheese

Mixed Greens, Pickled Red Onions, Pistachios, Lemon Vinaigrette

 

Load Potato Soup

Bacon, Blue Cheese, Scallions

 

Prince Edward Island Mussels

Garlic, Ginger, Shallots, Tomato-Coconut Broth

 

2nd Course (Choice of):

Fennel-Spiced Salmon Filet

Garlicky Red B’s, Caramelized Onions, TJ’s Coca-Cola BBQ Glaze

 

Grass Fed Beef Meatloaf wrapped with Smokey Bacon

Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts, Bacon, Port Wine

 

Herb-Roasted Pork Rib Eye

Country Grits, Cider-Braised Cabbage, Natural Jus, Golden Raisins

 

Dessert Course (Choice of):

Nutella Crème Brûlée

Hazelnut Tuile

 

Roasted Pumpkin Bread Pudding

Crème Anglaise
