Stage Left in New Brunswick, NJ, will be celebrating Mischief Night, Friday, October 30th, with a Unibroue Beer Dinner, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Hors d’Oeuvres
Brew: Blanche de Chamblis (& Blanche de Chamblis Mimosas): This is Unibroue’s first bottle-refermented ale; it is a white ale brewed from barley, wheat, and spices.
Sweet Scallops with Heritage Pork, Johnnycakes, and Sweet Corn
Brew: La Fin du Monde: A strong, triple-style golden ale with fruit, spice, and sharp, defining hops.
House-Made Fettuccini Carbonara with a Suydam Farm Hen’s Egg, Pancetta, and Duck Cracklings
Brew: Maudite: A malty, spicy, amber-red ale with a hoppy finish; it has been compared to Cognac for its complexity.
Roasted Venison with Poached Apples, Brown Sugar, Hard Spices, Swiss Chard, and Butternet Squash
Brew: Trois Pistoles: A dark brown beer with a rich and foamy mousse; the slight sweetness is enhanced by a full-body, roasted malt, cocoa, ripe fruit, and dark spices. It will go exceptionally well with Venison.
Churos filled with Coffee and Chocolate
Brew: Terrible: Terrible is, perhaps, the most singular of the Unibroue beers. It is a deep and well-balanced strong dark ale.
The cost of the Unibroue Canadian Beer Dinner is $79.00 per person. For more information, or to make reservations, please call (732) 828-4444.
Cheers!
