Wine Events at the Knife & Fork in Atlantic City

knifeandfork2During the month of October, the legendary Knife & Fork in Atlantic City, NJ, will be hosting several extraordinary wine events.

 

On Thursday, October 15, the restaurant will host a wine dinner featuring the exceptional wines of Calera Wine Company in the Mt. Harlan appellation of northern Napa Valley. Marta Rich, Calera’s National Sales Manager, will be on hand to share Calera’s unique story and introduce diners to nine wines:

 

2006 Viognier, Central Coast

2006 Viognier, Mt. Harlan

2008 Chardonnay, Central Coast

2006 Chardonnay, Mt. Harlan

2007 Pinot Noir, Central Coast

2006 Pinot Noir Mt. Harlan Cuvée

2006 Pinot Noir, Ryan Vineyard

2006 Pinot Noir, Jensen Vineyard

2006 Pinot Noir, Sellect Vineyard

 

The wines will be paired with a five-course dinner priced at just $58.00 per person (plus tax & gratuity). The wines will also be available for retail sale following the dinner.

 

knifeandfork4On Tuesday, October 20, the restaurant will be hosting a “Meet the Winemaker” night from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with Robert Pecota, co-owner, president and winemaker of Robert Pecota Winery, Napa Valley. Mr. Pecota will personally be on hand to introduce participants to his winery and describe his featured wines:

Each wine will be featured by the glass and available for retail purchase.

 

On Thursday, October 22, the restaurant will hold its second half-price wine night. In 2009, the Knife & Fork was awarded the “Best of Award of Excellence” by the Wine Spectator. To celebrate this honor, on this one night only, every wine on the award-winning wine list will be available at half-price.
