sj-chefs-goin-southWith restaurant weeks abounding in every city and town, the chefs of SJ Culinary Events decided to inject a bit of creativity into the proceedings.

“We developed a Restaurant Week that specializes in the southern cuisine of each region in which we specialize,” notes chef/proprietor Mark Smith of The Tortilla Press in Collingswood. “Our group was perfect for this concept since we have restaurants representing Mexican, Italian, French, German, and American food. And we’re all developing menus that spotlight items from the southern areas of those countries.”

“Goin’ South Restaurant Week” will be celebrated Sunday, October 11, through Thursday, October 15, and will feature 4 courses for $28.00 (plus tax, gratuity, and beverage).

Participating restaurants are Mirabella Café in Cherry Hill (Italian), Andreotti’s Viennese Café in Cherry Hill (German), Blackbird in Collingswood (French), The Tortilla Press in Collingswood (Mexican), and blueplate in Mullica Hill (American).
