Nick Goldschmidt, winemaker and owner of Goldschmidt Vineyards, and former winemaker at Sonoma’s Simi Winery from 1991 – 2004, will be the special guest at a wine dinner at Vine on Wednesday, September 2, beginning at 7:15 p.m.
Before settling down at Simi, Mr. Goldschmidt began his career in 1982 in his native New Zealand and then made wines in Australia, California, and Chile. In 1998 Mr. Goldschmidt and his wife, Yolyn, established Goldschmidt Vineyards to make wines from great vineyards around the world.
Guests at this special wine dinner will enjoy a tour of Mr. Goldschmidt’s wines from his vineyards in New Zealand, Australia, and Sonoma. Here’s a look at the menu and wine pairings…
