Labor Day Seafood Tasting Menu at Blue Point Grill in Princeton, NJ

blue-point-grillOn Monday, September 7th, during two seatings at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., CoolVines and Blue Point Grill will present a 5-course tasting menu paired with wines from Burgundy, France. The special guest will be Doug Salthouse from Willette Wines.

 

Here’s a look-see at the menu and wine pairings…

 

Aperitif Upon Arrival:

Smoked Salmon Crostini with Arugula, Mascarpone, and Fried Shallots

Wine: Parigot-Richard Cremant Rose NV

 

First Course:

Roasted Beau Soleil Oyster, Golden Chanterelle, and Parmesan

Wine: Vincent Mothe Chablis 2007

 

Second Course:

Warm Octopus Salad, Dijon Vinaigrette

Wine: Chalet Pouilly St. Veran 2006

 

Third Course:

Grilled Australian Barramundi, Haricot Verts

Wine: Francois D’Allaines Bourgogne Pinot Noir, Cotes Chalonnaise 2006

 

Fourth Course:

Grilled Tasmanian Silver Trout, Roasted New Potatoes

Wine: Camille Giroud Bourgogne Rouge, Cote d’Or 2006

 

Dessert:

Ice Cream and Sorbet from the Bent Spoon

 

The event will be held at the Blue Point Grill, 258 Nassau Street, Princeton, NJ, and is priced at $85.00 per person, all inclusive.
