Michael Burbella, the new executive chef at Table 8 in Montclair, NJ, seamlessly blends the flavors, ingredients, and seasonings of Italy, France, Spain, and the Middle East.
Chef Burbella graduated from the Culinary Institute of American and has worked in the kitchens of his mentors, Alfred Portale at Gotham Bar & Grill; Tom Colicchio of Gramercy Tavern; and throughout Europe in 2- and 3-starred Michelin restaurants. Prior to joining Table 8, Mr. Burbella was the opening chef at Lamu, Ora, and the Grand Tier Restaurant at the Metropolitan Opera (all in Manhattan).
A native of Roselle Park, NJ, Mr. Burbella currently resides in Cliffside Park with his wife.
