fiddleheads3On Sunday, August 2nd, Fiddleheads Restaurant in Jamesburg will once again welcome Tom & Nancy Nye, owners and master winemakers of the Grape Escape in Dayton, NJ, for its next “Dine With the Winemaker” dinner event.

Patrons who dine at the restaurant that evening will meet TGE’s Tom Nye (“Chief Tannin Officer”) and Nancy Nye (“Chief Fun Officer”), who will be pouring samples of their award-winning wines made with world-class grapes, which are shipped to the Grape Escape facility from famed vineyard regions for customer winemaking, including California’s Napa, Sonoma, and Amador regions.

Tom & Nancy’s slogan “Winemaking Fun!” is embodied in their signature classes, wherein customers can make their own custom wine – from crushing the grapes all the way through corking and personalized labeling, over four sessions – from the same grapes used to make the well-known vintages worldwide.

Reservations for “Dine With the Winemaker” are available from 4:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. on August 2nd. These are on a first come, first-served basis, and Fiddleheads will be serving its standard dinner menu, as well as some exciting and interesting specials. There is no additional charge to sample the Grape Escape wines at the tating event; customers only pay for the courses ordered from Fiddleheads’ eclectic New American menu.

Fiddleheads will also host an open house at the Grape Escape’s facility on Thursday, September 24th. Fiddleheads will provide appetizers free of charge, and visitors can tour the winery and sign up for the California season winemaking classes. The Grape Escape also features classes in custom-bottling of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and in mozzarella cheese making.
