Ferrari-Carano Wine Dinner at Chakra in Paramus, NJ

chakra3Ferrari-Carano owns 19 estate vineyards in four different appellations, totaling 1,400 acres, in some of the finest wine growing regions in all of California. Mountain, bench land, and valley floor vineyards spread over a fifty mile radius were chosen for their diversity of microclimates and soil: the acclaimed and diverse Alexander Valley, the desirable Russian River Valley with its cooler temperatures, picturesque Dry Creek Valley, and, at the southernmost end of the county, Napa/Carneros.

 

On Monday, July 20th, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Chakra Restaurant in Paramus will host a wine dinner highlighting Ferrari-Carano’s extraordinary wines.

 

Aperitif: Passed Hors d’Oeuvres

Course I: Seared Kona Kampachi with Pickled Strawberries

Wine: Ferrari-Carano Fume Blanc, Sonoma County, 2008

 

Course II: Veal Ragout with Fresh Raditore Pasta

Wine: Siena, Sonoma County, 2007

 

Course III: Roasted Pork Tenderloin with Creamy Polenta and Black Mission Figs

Wine: Ferrari-Carano Chardonnay, Alexander Valley, 2007

 

Course IV: Selection of Artisanal Cheeses with Blackberry Compote and Cranberry Bread

Wine: Prevail West Face, Alexander Valley, 2005
