Rhone Valley Wine Dinner at Stage Left in New Brunswick, NJ

stage-left3Rhone Valley wines have always been a favorite and dynamic part of wine list at Stage Left in New Brunswick… And, so, the restaurant decided to put together a dinner of Rhone producers that are not so commonly seen in this part of the world. This special event will be held this coming Friday, May 1st. Hors d’oeuvres will be served at 7:00 p.m.; dinner at 7:30 p.m.

Olive Oil-Poached Hamachi with Burnt Orange Nutmeg, Cinnamon, and Allspice

Jersey Quail grilled with Morels and Sage

Wine: Domaine Laurent Combier Crozes-Hermitage 2007

 

Black Pepper Tagliatelli Carbonara with Suydam Farm Hen’s Egg, Confit Pork Belly and Royal Trumpet Mushrooms

Wines: Domaine des Florets Gigondas 2007; Domaine Saint Pierre Vacqueyras 2005

 

Sucking Pig with Heirloom Faro, Apples, and Rosemary

Wine: Domaine de la Barroche Châteauneuf du Pape Signature 2006

 

Juniper Financier with Tristar Strawberries, Crème Fraiche Ice Cream and Chilled Rhubarb Soup.
