bistrot-lepic1One of my favorite dining haunts, Bistrot Lepic & Wine Bar, 1736 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC, will be serving a special lunch and dinner Easter menu tomorrow, Sunday, April 12th.

 

Appetizers:

Hazelnut Soup with Duck Confit

Sautéed Duck Foie Gras with Fresh Pineapple Reduction

Tuna Tartare, Frisée Salad with Sesame Seed Vinaigrette

Endive Salad with Asian Pears, Walnuts, and Roquefort Cheese

 

Main Courses:

Braised Beef Cheeks served with Ragout of Artichoke Bottoms, Five Spices Red Wine Sauce

Seared Duck Breast with Stuffed Cabbage with Duck Confit and Shallot Sauce

Stuffed Lamb served with Wild Mushrooms, Kalamata Olive Paste, Peruvian Potato Gratin, and Confit Garlic Sauce

King Salmon seared with Parsley Mousse and Lemon Caper Butter

Steamed Lobster with Spinach and Celery Root Julienne, Mango, Green Papaya, Pequillo Pepper, Ginger and Passion Fruit Sauce

Plate of Spring Vegetables

 

Cheese Course:

French Cheese with Toasted Country Bread

 

Dessert Course:

Assorted pastries served with Homemade Fresh Mint Ice Cream

 

The price of the special Easter menu is $42.50 per person (plus tax & gratuity). The restaurant’s regular menu will be offered after 7:00 p.m. There are still openings available for both lunch and dinner. To make reservations, please call (202) 333-0111.
