2009 has been the best black truffle season ever at Nicholas in Middletown. And since the restaurant has been fortunate enough to get double the amount of black truffles this year, it was decided to create a second black truffle menu, which commenced this past Thursday, February 26th.
Diners now have a choice to enjoy the complete black truffle tasting menu in the dining for $105.00 per person or portions of the menu à la carte in the bar/lounge.

First Course: Terrine of Foie Gras with Black Truffles, Warm Brioche
Second Course: Day Boat Scallops, Black Truffle & Mascarpone
Third Course: Hen Egg Ravioli, Black Truffle, Truffle Butter Sauce
Fourth Course: Black Truffle Crusted Veal, Truffled Whipped Potatoes, Veal Jus
Cheese Course: Artisanal Cheese Tasting
Sixth Course: Black Truffle Rice Pudding, Strawberry Purée, Truffled Biscotti
