It’s still not too late to join the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park and enjoy Valentine’s Day dinner and contribute to worthy causes in the process. PAC is the only private dining club of its kind in the world: All profits fund the activities of a foundation, which, in turn, supports the works of 11 great NJ charitable and cultural organizations. Executive Chef Arnold Kruck will feature a three-course prix fixe that will include complimentary Champagne toast. Starters headline house-made lobster ravioli with day boat scallops and saffron cream or roulade of fresh mozzarella & grilled vegetables. The cost is $65.00 per person (plus additional beverages, tax and 20% gratuity). (973) 301-8233.

At Restaurant Serenade in Chatham, Chef James Laird and his wife & partner, Nancy Sheridan Laird, transform the restaurant into a romantic retreat. They’ve assembled a light, lush three-course prix fixe that will be available all weekend. Main courses will feature herb-crusted scallops with celery root galette, slow-roasted duck, and filet mignon. Dessert will headline a lover’s sampler, including chocolate cake, apple strudel, and dipped strawberries. Friday, 2/13: 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., $75.00; Saturday, 2/14: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., $85.00; Sunday, 2/15: 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., $65.00. (Prices are per person, exclusive of beverages, tax, and gratuities.) (973) 701-0303.

To complement the rustic warmth of the Stone House at Stirling Ridge, Executive Chef Jerry Villa has created a three-course Valentine’s prix fixe menu featuring signature dishes and several new creations. For starters, choose from roasted parsnip soup; crudo of salmon with fennel relish, chilled West Coast oysters, or the “Stack of Hearts” (beets, goat cheese, and fines herbs). Main courses will include roast loin of lamb and duo of sea scallops and prawns. The cost is $75.00 per person (plus beverages, tax, and gratuities). (908) 754-1222.

Bon Appétit!
